Scripture for the day:

Thessalonians 5:18~ In every thing give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Hooray for a New Table!!!!! Hip-hip Hooray!!!!

I'm so very excited!  We just got a new table this weekend and I love it!  The other one was so icky!  If we accidently left paper onto it over night, it became part of the table, seriously!  Last week I accidently left the newspaper on it before going to bed, the next morning when I tried to take the paper off it was stuck.  I tried to remove it the best I could, but it still had a HUGE marking on my table from it.  That's the reason we never used it, it was good for piling things on, but not to eat off of it.  Our kitchen was always cluttered because of doing that, but I didn't mind because I didn't have to look at that icky table!
So Shopko had a awesome sale last week (good timing for that newspaper incident I think), so we took advantage of it and got us a new table!  Yeah, so happy now!!!!!
My kitchen is a lot cleaner looking now and I actually have a cute center piece on it, never had one before.  Now we actually get to sit at a table and eat together as a family and not in front of the tv.

Six Years Together!

Chet and I celebrated 6 years together last Sunday.  It's kind of late, but it's better late than never right!
Chet and I met through a mutual friend.  It's kind of funny too!  Chet actually called her to see if she would go out with him, but she said that something really important was about to happen and that she would call him back.  She was getting proposed to when he called!  Well, I guess she felt bad and decided to hook us up.  But it took her FOREVER to do it.  She had him go out with some other girl first, but luckily that didn't that didn't work out.  Then he got my number and called me, I fell in love with his voice and sweet personality over the phone.  We talked to each other almost every night for a week.  We were suppose to go on a group date a week later, but were too anxious and met up earlier than that.  So we met at the Perkins parking lot and guess what happened next?  I locked my keys in the car!  I was so embarrassed!  So the first thing we did was try to find someone to break into my car, luckily my sisters boyfriend was an expert in that (he worked on cars and knew how to do so).  After that we went to Subway for dinner and then to the ISU sub and played at the game area there, it was a very memorable night.
That following Saturday we had our group date and that didn't go as well as the first.  Chet was being shy and wouldn't really be by me or anything.  His friend Blayne flirted more than he did, so I was thinking well maybe he's not that interested after all.  Then all of a sudden he had to go to the store.  I guess he had forgotten to put deodorant on and was embarrassed because he thought that he stunk.  When I heard about that I couldn't help but laugh, it still makes me laugh today!  :)
That night we went and got ice cream, I was able to talk to him and told him about my past, he wasn't judgmental at all and I loved him for that.  I pretty much fell in love with him then and it was only our second date!
He had planned on asking me to marry him on Easter morning, but my ring didn't arrive on time.  But he proposed two days later, in my drive way.  We were standing out in the rain and only had the worms for witnesses.  :)
Three months later we were married and I couldn't be happier!  I'm so grateful for Chet and all the love he has for me and our 3 beautiful kids.  He's an amazing husband and a wonderful father!  I love him so much!  Thank you Chet for choosing me to be your wife!!!!!!  I love you!!!

Ezzy Started Kindergarten!

Ezzy has been waiting ALL summer for kindergarten and she finally got to go to it!  She has been so excited that it's a breeze in the morning with her getting ready!  This morning we didn't wake up as early as we were suppose to, so Chet took her to school on his motorcycle!  That was her first official ride too.   Sure she's had little rides, but never on the busy streets, just our little block in the trailer park.  So I was a nervous mommy!  It probably didn't help that I had a dream and Ezzy was in the hospital for some reason and needed 2 IVs in her, talk about scary!  Anyways, they made it there safely and Chet said that he heard some kids say "wish that I could ride that".
She loves school and is sad that she doesn't get to go for 2 days.  Can't wait till Christmas break comes, 2 weeks of no school!  What will I do with her then?  :)
One of her friends from head start is in her class and she just thinks that is so neat!  I'm so happy that she loves school, I really hope that she continues that attitude.

Camping is so much fun with soooo many little ones!!!

We went camping over the weekend with the family.  We had 10 kids all under the age of 7 there, what fun that was!  :)
The first night was extremely windy!  We thought that maybe a storm was coming, but alas it did not. That night we also celebrated Ezra's and Tauni's birthday.  I found the cutest cake at Walmart that was so appropriate for them.  The center was a small round cake decorated like a watermelon half with two ants on top of it.  That was surrounded by 10 cupcakes that looked like apples from the top.  I'll have to get pictures on here, but I need to get them from my mom first.
So anyways, we were suppose to go boating the next day, but it was too windy again.  But the kids had fun playing with each other and driving the adults nuts!  They really enjoyed collecting ladybugs, they were everywhere! Cian was collecting them and putting them in his frisbee, he had at least 5 in it.  He was so excited and showed it to me and then all of a sudden he threw it!  He wanted to see them fly I guess, lol.  Then Ezzy showed me her lady bug collection, in her pocket!  She wanted to take them home with her.  But I talked her into leaving them there at their home.  My kids are REALLY into bugs!  They are always collecting them and trying to bring them to me, I HATE bugs, seriously!  Iolly has started doing this too, the other day he tried to give me something that he picked up, but I realized he was saying erig (earwig) and pulled back my hand before it was too late.  So now they know that mommy is afraid and they just love to tease me about it.
Our last day there was nice, so we went tubing!  I actually went out on the boat this year and helped Chet with the kids.....well, loading and unloading them on the tube that is.  Anyways, Ezzy wanted to stop immediately.  Then Cian went and rode for about 5 minutes (if that) and was done with it.  Then it was Iolly's turn, mind you he's only 2, and seemed to enjoy it.  However, when we pulled them in we realized he was actually asleep!  lol  That was soooo funny!  How do you fall asleep tubing?  What a crazy little boy.  :)
Then it was the adults turn to go, Chet talked me into riding with him (I don't like to tube) and guess what?  I  L O V E D   it!  Seriousl, it was great!  I can't wait to do it again next year, only I won't ride with Chet, I want to go by myself.
We left after that and went home.  It really was a fun little vocation, except for the bug bites.  Ezzy's poor little face was eaten up!  She has like 4-5 on the side of her face and then one on her cheek.  She is always complaining about it hurting, poor girl, wish that I could take those bites away.

*oh ya, a little side note.  So one of my sisters (not naming any names) was having a beer and relaxing.  Well her little boy came to her and asked for a drink and without thinking about it, she gave him a drink of her beer.  She then realized what she was doing and freaked out about it.  lol  She had been sharing drinks with him all day long and just wasn't thinking, it was funny!  :)

Scripture for the day:

D&C 11:12~  And now, verily, verily, I say unto thee, put your trust in that Spirit which leadeth to do good--yeah, to do justly, to walk humbly, to judge righteously;  and this is my Spirit.

Yeah for potty training!

I'm so excited to be potty traing Iolly!  We started yesterday and I think that he's doing really well.  Tomorrow he gets to try big boy undies for the first time, I'm so excited!  Not having to buy diapers for a while would be great!  Ok, so I will still have to buy some for night time, but that's still better than what I'm buying for now.

I HATE SLIVERS!!!!!!!!!

So yesterday Cian somehow managed to cover the bottom of his foot with slivers. I have a weak stomach for stuff like that, so luckily my sister, Cassie, was there when it happened. She helped pull like 10 slivers out, it took us probably 30-40 minutes. He still had quite a few in, but we had to let him rest, the poor guy. He's a tough little guy too though. It took 3 of us to hold him down! I was holding his body and one leg, my husband was trying to hold his other leg and foot still, and Cassie was trying to get the slivers out, he put up a really good fight!
Late on last night we went Fran's house, another sister of mine, and she tried to get more out with some special tweezers she's got. I think that we worked another 40 minutes and was only able to pull a few more out. He still has some, so tonight I went and talked to a pharmacist and they suggested some tar like medicine to try and draw the slivers out, so now we are waiting on that and then going at his foot again, hopefully this works cause I really don't want to go to the doctor for this. I really, really, REALLY hate slivers!!!

Trip to Pocatello Airport

So Jamie made plans for us to go out last night for my birthday... on my motorcycle! In case you don't know, that's a big thing for Jamie to go for! She is not the biggest fan of motorcycle rides!

After dropping off the kids at her parents place, we left the van went for a ride over to Craigo’s pizza for dinner (I got to choose!). I just love their buffalo wing thing pizza and their roasted red pepper pasta sauce. If you have not tried either of these great meals, I suggest you get on it!

After the delicious meal, we topped of the tank and took a back road out to the airport. It was the first time I took the bike out of town, and I have to say, it drove great! Jamie told me she had a hard time keeping her glasses on! Ha, must have been going fast!

We stopped at the driving course at the airport where I took a motorcycle safety course and took some pictures. I have posted them here so you can have a look. We decided it was late so we went back and got the kids. It was a fun night!

Jamie, thank you for the great birthday and for being such and awesome wife! I love you! Thank you for always being there for me, even through the hard times. Oh, and thank you for facing your fear of riding motorcycles and riding with me!

Have a good one!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHET!!!

Today is Chet's birthday!  Happy Birthday Honey!  I love you!!!
I remember the first time I got to celebrate his birthday with him.  It was at my parents place and I had his parents show up as a surprise for him.  That was also the first time our parents met too.  Anyways, I hid Chet's gifts and left notes all over for him to find, he had to hunt for his gifts.  That was so fun!
Hopefully my surprise for him will be a great one this year!  I can't say what it is yet and hopefully he gets bugged by this entry too!  He always tells me that he know what I'm getting from so and so, or from himself and teases me about it when ever he can!  I really hate surprises!   so hopefully this entry will make him crazy with not knowing what I've got in store for him, I know that he'll love it though!  He's been hounding me about it for a while.
Happy Birthday Chet I love you!  I hope that you have a wonderful day today!!!!

Couldn't sleep last night

So, I had a hard time sleeping last night because of the incident with Cian.  I feel like I really failed him.  I'm really upset because of it.  I'm trying to let it be a learning experience, but it's hard, I'm really mad at myself!  I know that nothing happened to him, but it could have.  Why wasn't I more watchful?  Why didn't I notice it sooner than I did?  I really do pay attention to my kids, I love them!  And I would never want anything bad to happen to them!  I'm sorry for what happened and I'm sorry Cian!  I love you!!!!
