My Laugh For The Day

I'm in the bathroom cleaning and Cian comes to me and says "Mom, Iolly has the butt lotion on his face!" I'm like what? So Cian goes and brings me the petroleum jelly, "This butt lotion Mom. It's all over his face." I couldn't help but laugh at it all, ya Iolly got some, just a bit and rubbed it onto his cheeks, no big deal there. But for Cian to call it butt lotion, that is hilarious to me!!! I think he called it that cause he gets really bad, dried bottom cheeks and so I use that to help them out, make sense why he calls it that, just never heard him call it that before! :)

I TOOK A TEST AND IT SAID YES!!!

I'm so excited!!! We are on our way to having number four, hopefully all goes well this time. It has been a very trying experience because of our last miscarriage. I am excited and hopeful, but yet I am trying to remain realistic, it could very well happen again. So I've been praying for acceptance in Heavenly Father's will, just in case. The chances for another miscarriage is there, it is a very real thing for me, I've had 2 out of five pregnancies. The last one was so scary though, I hope that it does not happen again, not like that one anyways. I want a large family and I know that some how I will, even if that means adopting our last ones, after all, we are planning on doing so later on.

The Negatives of a New Washer

So two days before Christmas our washer went out and we was able to buy a new one, thank you Chet! Sear was having an awesome sale, so Chet let me pick out which ever one I wanted. I got a 4.7 top loader. It has so many different options, it's like a new toy to me, I love it so much, it's awesome! However, there is a HUGE negative to it. All the clean clothes I have to fold! Ugh, seriously. I am able to do huge loads now and they dry in the dryer so much faster because of my washer's spin. I really got into the washing part, not even thinking about all the laundry I was going to have to fold afterwards, I was just so excited I was able to do bigger loads! But what a mess I have gotten myself into. lol I have clean clothes covering my entire couch now and someone has to fold it, and that someone is me, but I don't want too! I hate folding clothes, that is the worst part about laundry.
I just noticed that all the kids have gone to sleep, so I guess I now have time to fold some clothes without any extra help, I still don't want to, but I will......... eventually. :0)

Violin Lessons, Here We Come!

Ezzy has been wanting to learn to play the violin for a long time, I was hesitant to look into it cause I thought that it was going to be way expensive. We were originally going to do it for her birthday, but that month seemed to go by so fast and it's almost like Christmas to us too. We have 7 birthdays for that month, plus our anniversary. I felt really bad about it cause we did talk to Ezzy about doing it, then it didn't happen. So when Christmas was coming up we decided to do it for sure and once we looked into it, we realized that it really wasn't that costly, what a relief. When I brought the violin up with Ezzy again, she changed her mind and didn't want to do it any more. I couldn't blame her though, we let her down I think. I hope that we never do that again, I felt horrible! Anyways, we had already gotten the violin for her and hoped that once she opened it for Christmas she would change her mind. Then Chet decided to do something else too, he went down and got me one for my birthday. I've never really wanted to play the violin, I've dreamed of playing the piano. But I think that it would be fun to learn with Ezzy, maybe I'll really like it, who knows. When Ezzy saw me get a violin, she was interested again. So we are now both excited to be starting our lessons, which start next Tuesday, yeah!!!

Cian, My Story Teller! :)

Cian is always coming up with crazy things to say, he's big into telling tall tales. So sometimes it is hard to believe him. Tonight as Chet was tucking him into bed he told Chet that early today he swallowed a small, blue dinosaur and it hurt his throat really bad. He was so serious about it! So Chet came and told me what Cian said before he left to go do his homework, I was like, no way, what do I do about that, just wait and see what happens? Why didn't he tell me, I think he would have cried or even choked on it if that really happened, my mind was racing. So Chet left and I went in and talked with Cian. I told him that Daddy said he swallowed a dinosaur, his response was, "Ya I did, it was little and blue, it hurt my throat so bad mom. To-later (later/tomorrow) the doctor got it out by going like this." and pushes on his tummy. "The doctor fixed me, I am all better now." lol
I just smiled at him, told him that I'm glad the dr was able to fix him and that next time he shouldn't put any toys in his mouth cause that could really hurt him. I then called Chet and told him what happened, he was so relieved that it was just a tall tale.
What will we ever do with him? He keeps things interesting, that's for sure! :)

New Years Party!!!

Chet and I decided to have a slumber party with a bunch of kiddoes for our New Years Party. We actually had other plans, but they fell through. I then heard that 2 of my sisters had their baby-sitter cancel on them, so we decided to throw a party for the kiddoes and what fun that was!
Everyone came at 6, so we fixed mini cheese burgers to everyone's delight! After dinner, and a quick clean up, the games began. We had them put on their party hats and played a variety of short games, I really had to rack my brain for these cause the planning of it all was really last minute (I called my sisters the night before and that very day). But the kids seemed to really enjoy all of them. Then at 9:30 we decided to let them dance to music and got them prepared to do the countdown at 10, haha we cheated with them! They were so ready for it though, some of the younger ones were getting cranky. Finally it was 10 and we did the final count down, the kids had a blast with it, then I realized that I forgot to let them pull there poppers (ok, I really have no clue what these are called, they are in the celebration packets and you pull the string and they pop out streamers). So I video taped Chet helping the kiddoes out one at a time and they redecorated our tree with streamers, it was so fun to watch their reactions to it all! Ezzy has never liked those, so she got to throw streamers onto the tree. I took tons of pics and even video taped some of it. I asked each of the kiddoes what they wanted for the new years and they gave some rather interesting answers:

Neakis (7) a four wheeler
Ezra (5) smiles
Amayah (5) to have a happy family
Skylar (4) a head
Cian (4) an eye (as he poked his eye)
Gabby (2) to dance
Iolly (2) too shy to talk :)
Max (2) too tired to talk :)

All and all it was a great night! The kids obviously had a lot of fun and partied hard, cause once they were in bed they were pretty much out!!! Then Chet and I got to enjoy ourselves with a game of our own (I love scattigories), made it to midnight and went right to bed! We were exhausted! And then to our surprise, we were woken up at 9 am, seriously 9 am!!! How the heck did we get so lucky with sleeping in with 8 kiddoes in the house, unbelievable! We fixed a huge breakfast and then got everyone ready to go home. The kids keep asking to party again, so now I'm going to have to come up with another sleep over night, it really was fun, so I don't mind. Hopefully Chet feels the same, he was a great sport with it all!

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE!!!

GOOD BYE 2009, HELLO 2010!!!

*Pictures will be coming soon, just need to figure our my new camera first!! :)
