It's Been A While

It's been a while since I last posted.  Here's a list of things that has happened since;

* Chet applied and got accepted into an online college, he will be starting November 2nd.

* Iollan has turned into a mischievous monster all of a sudden, he is into everything times 3!

* Cian has clogged my toilet twice in one week, didn't know who did it the first time but was caught red handed the second time.  He decided that he could use a whole NEW package of wipes in the toilet, what a mess that was.  My parents have decided to let us keep the snake in our house till they need it since obviously we're the ones in need of it.

* We are dressing up for Halloween as a family this year.  We are being witches and warlocks.  We found a cute little dress for Ezzy, then while on Ebay I found the same exact one in my size, so my wonderful husband let me buy it!  So Ezzy and I will look alike and Chet and the boys will look a like too, I'm making their costumes.  I'm so excited for this!

* I'm planning a Halloween party with a good friend of mine.  We are having it at her house, what fun stuff we have planned out for it!

* Our local pet shop has a Pet Costume Contest, we are still trying ti figure out what to dress all our animals as.  Last year our white rat won 2nd place, so we are hoping to win one of the 3 places again this year.  I'm having trouble coming up with ideas for all of our pets so if you have any suggestions, please let me know!  We have our dog Beth, 3 cats (Fat Elmo, Sneezy Tim, and Sarafina), then we have our two chinchillas (Sorcha and Olivia).

* Our lovely dog, Beth, chewed up Cian's new snow boots.  We just bought them from the DI for $4, but they looked new.  These boots cost $30 in stores, so I was so excited!  He wore them one day and then left them by Beth's bed (crate) when we left the house, so she was able to chew on them and obliterated it!  Nothing was left but the sole of the boot!  Now we need to get him another pair, oye!  Hopefully we can find another hardly used pair from the DI.

* Iollan has decided that he LOVES Jurassic Par and Spider man.  He's always wanting to watch them.  He also thinks that he can change the dvds himself, something we are trying very hard to break.  He thinks that he is big enough to do anything!  When we get into the car and we don't get him seat belted first, he immediately gets into the drivers seat, locks the doors and tries to drive!  We really have to watch him, he has locked me out a good few times, only once with the keys in it, but lucky for me Ezzy was there too and she was able to unlock the doors for me.  He is getting so big, so fast.  I thought that since he was my baby, it would last longer.  But he has shown me otherwise!  He has learned to do everything at a faster pace than the other two ever did.  He talks a lot, ALWAYS copying everyone!  He is the most independent little boy ever, he just wants to be like all the other big kids.  When I am watching Mallorie (the 10 month old) he wants to hold her, tries to feed her, and is always giving her toys to play with.  He's going to be such a great big brother when his time comes!  I love him with all my heart, he is my little joy!  He is my proof that not all little boys are monsters hah!  Even though now, I think he is turning into one!  :)

* Even with watching so many kids and having a little baby in the house to watch (she's 10 months), I am still wanting to have another baby!  I can't wait till the day comes to announce to every one that I am.  I'm scared of things repeating like last time, but I also have faith that I will indeed be blessed with another little one.  It might take me a couple of rounds, but I will!

* I recently lost my phone and Chet was so awesome to dig through the garbage for it!  It had been lost for almost a week and we decided that we should look in the garbage last night since today is garbage day.  Well, it was there!  Chet wants to have it surgically attached to me, I told him no way!

* We have decided to get rid of our dish network.  I'm tired of the kids yelling at me to look at the tv because they want what is on it.  They want everything that they can see, no wonder Christmas is so commercialized!  I also hate all the diet commercials that is on tv anymore, pretty much every other commercial, no wonder women have a self image issue the world says you need to be thin in order to be pretty!  And then some of the commercial should be rated R too!  We have a family package and it's suppose to be family oriented, I don't even want to know what's on the other packages!  Chet and I only watch the food network channel, so that will be missed dearly.  But tv is not important to us, I'd rather find some other thing to do with my family then the tv.  The kids might miss it for a bit, we've recorded their favorite programs on the dvr, but we have collected movies for a while, so that should be ok.  I know on thing for sure though, I will not be missing it at all!  No more "Mommy, mommy!  I want that!"

* My 4 year old thinks that everyday is his birthday and that everyone needs to get him something!  We'll be at the store and he'll point at someone and say, "they buy me something for my birthday?"  Ha, what a silly little boy I got!  He's the worst one with the above paragraph.  He will get mad if I don't pay attention to him and yesterday he was watching the tv in his sister's room, cam and grabbed my hand and told me to come her.  I asked why, he wouldn't say just kept saying "come here, I need you!"  So I went with him and guess what he wanted, to show me what was on the commercial that he wants to have!  I was not impressed, ok so I did laugh about it when I told Chet what he wanted, but that's it.  Cian is getting really good with his vocabulary and sentencing.  I love hearing him say Actually, he says it so well, it's cute!  He talks better than Ezzy does, she has a bit of a speech problem.  He's very creative with his speech too though, I just love listening to him talk.  He's also the leader of the kids in their play I've noticed.  Lately he has been teaching them his favorite saying "Oh, I forgot!"  The other day I heard him tell Skylar, his cousin, "I'm going to say, go to bed and when I leave you say Oh, I forgot!  Like that ok."  It makes me laugh every time I think about that.  He's going to be a leader in something when he grows up, I can already see it, he has away with getting the other kids to play his way, not necessarily a goo thing though.  He has and will forever be my monster boy, I love him very dearly!  He is a big mommas boy and I am so happy that he is, we clash so much! But I love him and wouldn't trade him for anything!  He teaches me so much, love you Cian, my little monster boy!!!!

* I had a my first parent teacher's conference this month and Ezzy is doing great!  She is right were she needs to be with the other kids in her class!  I was nervous about her cause she is the youngest in her class.  She loves to do homework and wants to do it everyday!  Last week I taught her to spell Hi and she now does it all by herself.  This week she is learning The and Of and continuing Hi.  She is a fast learner, she impresses me every day.  She's also my big help when she is at home, she likes to read stories to the other kids, it is so cute!   She loves to help out with the baby too!  Sometimes a little too much though, she thinks that she should carry her around, so I have to watch for that.  She is just getting so big, I still can't believe it!  Lately she likes to be like Mom, she's always comparing what we are wearing or how we do our hair.  She recently cut her hair to be like mommy, so we now have the same hair cut!  She also loves that we both have the same big brown eyes.  I love her so much, I can't imagine life with out her!

* Chet is amazing!  He's always helping me out!  Sometimes I fall behind with cleaning because I've had a bad day with kids, feeling icky, or because my schedule was very busy.   But he always helps me out with out complaining!  Today he is going to be making a computer desk for our room, he's so excited to do this.  He loves working with wood and making things.  I love that he doesn't mind me watching all the other kids, he even helps me out when I need it!  He will sometimes watch the kids so that I can go out and do something or just take a break if I need it (watching kids from 7am-8:30pm can become very long days!).  He has an awesome calling, 2nd councilor in the EQ and has become busy with that.  He's learning to be more organized because of it though and I love that!  And in November he gets to start school again, he's excited about it, sometimes I am too!  He's always willing to help out with family too.  He helped my dad rebuild a new storage closet, he's helped reroof my grandpa's workshop, he just got done helping his dad putting a new shed together, he helped put a large kennel together in the rain for my parents when their dogs decided they could jumped their fence and escape all the time, he's just busy helping everyone out.  I love that about him, I know that my family sees him as reliable!   He's always the first person they call when they need help.  I love my husband very much, I'm so happy that he picked me to be his wife and the mother of our children, I am so blessed to have him!  Thank you Chet for all that you do, I love you with all my heart!!!   For Always and For Ever!!!!

Cian is 4!!!! YEAH!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CIAN!!!  WE LOVE YOU!
Well, actually this should have been posted yesterday, but oh well at least I'm doing it now right! lol
Cian is officially 4 now and he is so happy!  That's what he keeps telling me "I am so happy I am to be 4 Mommy!"  What a cutie he is!  I just love my little monster and that's exactly what he is too!  I wouldn't trade him for the world though, even though there are LOTS of times we clash.
Before I had Cian, I thought that I had patience, but he has taught me that I still had/have a lot to work on.  This is so sad, but true,  but when I found out that I was having another boy, I cried!  Seriously, I was scared because Cian and I clash so much!  I love him to death, but he is just so difficult, very spirited!  I know that some of it is my blame too though.  You see, when Cian was born, he was born with a clubbed foot.  So he had to get a cast on his right foot the day we were released from the hospital.  I felt so bad for him and I also felt like I was to blame, he was after all in my tummy and I was the one responsible for him and his health.  I had that weighing on my mind a lot, finally after a lot of research and Chet convincing me, I realized that it wasn't my fault and that things like that just happen and they still don't know why it does, but IT IS NOT MY FAULT!
When he was 3 months, they concluded that he needed surgery for his foot.  That is such a HUGE word for a little baby!  It was suppose to be an in and out thing, but we ended up staying the night.  During the surgery his breathing tube became loosened and he was with out oxygen for almost 2 1/2-3 minutes, very big deal for a baby!  They said that they almost lost him due to that.  It scared me so much!  So we had to stay over night to observe him, no harm came to my baby from that though thank goodness!
After that, I'm afraid I spoiled him.  I now realizing what I did and how much I let him get a way with things and I'm now trying to correct that, but it's so hard now!
As much as we clash, he is a huge Momma's boy.  I really don't understand it at all, but I am so grateful that he does love me, flaw and all.  He is MY monster boy and I love him very much, I wouldn't trade him for anything!
I do have to admit, as much as he is a monster, he is the most thoughtful, lovable little boy ever!  He's always saying such sweet stuff and helping the other kids out, if he sees something that he can help out with, he does it!  So to every bad, there is always a greater good to him!  He is a joy and a GREAT learning experience for me.
I    LOVE   YOU   CIAN!!!

Mommy, Woohoo!!!

So, I taught my little guy a new trick, he likes to observe mommy and copy me more than any of my other kids do.    I didn't purposefully teach him, he just figured it out himself.
Anyways, I like to whistle at Chet to get his attention.  This started when I was pregnant with Ezra and I wanted him to feel her kick, so I would whistle for him if he was in another room instead of trying to holler.  Well, it became a habit and I still do it if he's in another room and I need him, it's better than yelling right?  So now Iolly does it, but he does it to me!  It is so darn cute!  When he wakes up I hear "Mommy, woohoo!"  If I'm in another room "Mommy woohoo!"  He called for me last night when I was in the bath relaxing, I laughed so hard, it is just so funny and cute to me.  The other two have never done it and yet here he is, just two and he's already picked up on it!   Oh, and his woohoo isn't a little woohoo, he does a little scream with it!  I really should try and record it sometime, I just love it!  :)
